Sweet Talk 甜言蜜语

Ok, for today, our feature will be about food - Bubble Tea.
Sweet Talk 甜言蜜语 is a stall around Singapore selling bubble tea,
they are located in many places, such as Ang Mo Kio, Bishan, Bedok, Thomson, etc. (almost the whole Singapore)
Anyway, I had tried their bubble tea, not that bad.
They have a lot of flavours to choose from and their staffs were quite friendly and patient (for those stalls that I had been to) x:
Who says all bubble tea taste the same ?
Sweet Talk bubble tea uses milk tea that they had brewed, instead of some other shops which used flavourings.

Although I am not sure how many outlets are there around Singapore and their website has nothing on it except their logo, Sweet Talk is one of the places that I know, which serves nice bubble tea.

Ratings :
Not applicable (there are a wide range of flavours and lots of outlets, therefore I couldn't possiblily know the taste, the service, the variety of bubble tea in other outlets)

Sweet talk's bubble tea is really horrible. The pearls are too hard and the drinks are either too diluted or too sweet. But the worst fact is the service. For any enterprise or business, service is the most important.I would like to highlight the bad service of the staff at KEMBANGAN MRT STATION SWEET TALK.YES.its the Auntie with curly hair..you!!I waited for a bloody long time as she served the previous customer who bought 7 drinks.she had to rewash every blender but i waited patiently..naturally i was tired and bummed out at waiting.so when i told her my order..it was in a soft tone. She actually scolded me for saying too slow and soft.wad the fuck? The most fuckin annoying thing was she actually dared to say she was tired!!like wad the fuck is ur problem? No matter wad i am still the customer..really felt like screamin my head of at her but i tolerated because i was really too tired to fight ..guys pls address my grievances by not partonising the bloody stall..thanks a lot.

Very very very extremly,RUDE and SLOW service by the China lady staff at SIMEI MRT STATION SWEET TALK!!! The bubble tea is very AWFUL! It SUCKS!!! Its TOO SWEET and the pearl was also VERY VERY HARD! the queue was very long too... I would not go to sweet talk anymore! and I would also tell all my friends not to patronise sweet talk anymore!! I rather go up to the second floor of Eastpoint Mall to buy Each A Cup bubble tea. Each A cup bubble tea is very very much more nicer than sweet talk and also the service is much more friendly than the STUPID SWEET TALK!!!

i was looking for a contact number to lodge a complaint against the bloody china lady working at the kembangan mrt sweet talk and stumbled upon this post. Tat stupid lady is so damn bloody rude ok! I asked for a "green tea with jelly" and she asked me whether i still want the pearls. I asked whether instead of having pearls, can i have extra jelly. She raised a voice and asked "zheng zhu hai yao ma??!!!?!"
wtf? im not deaf ok. i told her off, "wat kind of attitude are you showing?" she tried to defend herself, saying i was only asking you whether u still want pearls.. I said, ya but did u hear your tone of voice? she still tried to defend herself saying she ask customers this question all the time and she just dont know why i cannot take it!
i asked for the boss' number, she conveniently told me boss not around. Think im blind too!
Wahlao i tell u, im so boycotting sweet talk ok!!

very bad and poor communication with the customers. I like you to know, the owner of "sweet talk" to train your staffs to be good relationship with consumers. And to be successful in your own business, I suggest that you should train effectively the staffs and let them serve the customers with patience and smile. I've never seen like this manner(shouting for asking what I want to order badly). Customer service is very important because as I come from other country, this is a very rude manner.

Does anyone have the link to sweet talk website? www.sweettalk.com.sg doesn't seem to work anymore!

I need to lodge a complaint but stumbled upon this post instead. I used to be a regular patron of sweet talk bb tea! But from today onwards, i will think twice before patronising. I am very dissatisfied with the service provided by a China staff at the Aljunied MRT outlet. She was eating her lunch while watching some chinese drama on her laptop and didn't even realized that i was standing there. Being polite, I even said sorry to her and tried to order my drink but she just showed me a very irritated face. I took it in because perhaps I interuppted her from LUNCH and DRAMA but seriously this is not how customer service should be delivered.

What angered me most was during the time of payment, I took out some coins and gave it to her, I mistook a 20c for a dollar coin as I took it out in a rush from my purse. The rude China staff raised her voice and said "WHAT ARE YOU GIVING ME? 70 CENTS..??!!", demanding the rest of the payment from me as though I underpaid her on purpose. I am apologetic for not giving the right amount but it was accidental! Why would I want to cheat her on just a mere 80cents for a drink, I felt my integrity was insulted at that very moment. She could have approached me about the mistake in a much better manner. I don't deserve this kind of treatment as a customer!

All in all, the China Staff potrayed a very poor service attitude. I sincerely hope that all businesses in the retail line or customer service sectors should recruit staffs with proper manners or if not, they should ensure that such ill-mannered staffs undergo service training before degrading the standard of customer services in Singapore.

My friend and I bought bubble tea from CCK Lot1 "sweet talk". The "pearls" tasted sour and weird. When we went back to feedback, guess what? The aunties showing impatience and unhappiness saying "we have been selling so many today, no one complain. pearls are like that. its normal to taste sour." I am a bubble tea lover. I dink bubble tea at least once per week. This is first time i eat sour "pearls". How can they provide such poor service?? They should at least check on their food. But no!! Nothing. Are they aware that they are selling FOOD?? FOOD THAT GONE BAD COULD CAUSE FOOD POISONING. DO THEY KNOW THAT?! How could SWEET TALK ALLOW SUCH STAFF SERVING CUSTOMERS??!!!

Few weeks ago,I bought a cup of bubble tea @ Jurong West Market Block 9xx, they selling per cup is $1, add pearl have to pay $0.40, I dun mind paying extra $0.40 & the counter staff give so little pearl I dun mind, the problem is that I pay $1.40, but the counter staff only key in $1 in the cash machine...

I try a few sweet talk stall before, when I order honey milk tea the taste canot make it, only Jurong point sweet talk still got standard the taste not so bad, the rest not very good, sometime I was wondering, other brand of bubble tea taste is nicer then sweet talk, althought they is not famous, but theirs taste is good.

Just recently, I went to the sweet talk outlet at gekpoh shopping centre. The staffs there were 2 china woman and their service was real bad. Not only were they unfriendly, they were simply too rude for anyone's liking. It was a real turn-off, I could have just walked off if my cousins didn't want a bubble tea.
First of all, after less than a minute of standing in front of the stall, the staff unpleasantly asked me what I wanted. I thought it was the hot weather that could have caused her to be so irritated but what went on later made me feel that her service was intolerable. She kept asking what I wanted when I was still considering. It made my experience there totally horrible. It was as if I owed her a million pounds. The way she spoke and her tone was real bad.
Also, when we took the wrong drink, she was howling at us like some mad dog. She didn't even hand the drink over to us so we just took what we assumed was ours. Besides that, she asked if I wanted to pay money, I mean like duh? But the thing is she didn't tell me how much it costs. Such bad service is really intolerable. No wonder there wasn't many people heading over to the stall, I guess no one even would do so after such a nightmarish experience. We are shoppers and don't we have the right to consider? Furthermore, we could live without a cup of bubble tea, it's not essential. What's their problem? Tired of working, don't work then.

hi,

Transaction time:
5 FEB 2011 @ 4:40pm
i wanted to find a number or an email address that i can write to - YES to lodge a complaint.
Today my sister and i went to the outlet at JURONG POINT.
ordered MILK TEA PEARL + Jelly.
Usually it cost $1.90
but today as its the 3rd day of Chinese NeW Year, there is a surcharge of 50cents. Cost of the tea = $2.40
the surcharge was very tiny stuck somewhere on some poster.
and they didnt say why there is a price increase till customer asked.
There is this FREAKING RUDE UNCLE when we mentioned about the increased in price, told US off.
quote: "dont tell me what to do. management wants to increase the price"
HELLO?! this is feedback, not tell you what to do. As a staff you should feedback to YOUR Management and stop giving me this BLOODY attitude of yours.
- he gave us our order without the jelly.
WRONG ORDER + BAD ATTITUDE

Can someone, please post the number to complain if you have!

Bad experience at Sweet Talk "Admiralty" , the cup sealer did not managed to seal the cup properly and the staff offer to use a cup cover the one with a hole at the center to put throuugh the straw, i told her it is not appropriate as the milk tea will seep thru the hole when she put her hand on the cover to shake it and she still insist true enough her hand are fill with milk tea. I refuse to take that cup and asked for a new cup she was very unhappy and i told her if she is not willingly to do my business just tell me frankly but please do not asked customer to take "dirty drink" then both the staff at the counter together with another 2 of their friend started mumbling and tell me she will give me a new cup.....i pass by this counter everyday and we all know how the business there if you guls intend to continue pleas better do somthing on the services and kindly please educate your staff what is food hygiene.

Yeah, had a few bad experiences too at most Sweet Talk :(
However, my recent experience at Sweet Talk Eunos MRT made me change an impression.

Understand that the previous China lady owner returned to her country due to some reasons and had changed owner. Though at times had to wait slightly longer due to queue, the lady was nice enough to apologise for the wait etc. Pearls are also definitely much much better, sweeter and chewier than the rest of the outlets.

Try going to Sweet Talk located at Eunos MRT for a better cust svc experience and drinks instead. :)

I went to boon Lay Shopping Center and bought a drink from Sweet talk. Simple and easy drink which is JASMINE PEARL MILK TEA.

The uncle gave me Green Tea with pearl and insists that IT IS Jasmine pearl milk tea.
I say I want Jasmine Tea with milk and pearl, NOT green tea without milk.

Guess what he say?? He say his shop only got green tea, no red tea, so if I wan Jasmine tea, they will use green tea and if I wan milk, I should say I wan RED TEA! But too bad, he already made it and plus he say he red tea with milk no good cause they use milk powder.. WTH?! and still can tell me his green tea sell better than red tea. So u have RED TEA LAH~

To be frank, I had drink HDB bubble tea before, this is the worst I ever seen.

So I conclude, since he can't convince me, he try to confuse me. But Im smart not to be confuse by him.

Its my first time buying a drink from a stall who doesn't know what is JASMINE PEARL MILK TEA. Just say dun have lor... So difficult meh... Faints....

WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD AT A BBT OUTLET. THE SWEET TALK OUTLET AT KEMBANGAN- THE CHINA LADY WITH SHORT HAIR. Her service attitude was really bad, the worst I've ever seen. I'd prefer the lady with the ponytail one better. She always seems so unhappy along with a black face which I have no idea why, when I ordered, her service attitude was so bad, I couldn't fathorn why she was even hired in the first place. If shes sick of working there, just quit, instead of staying on. I wouldn't wanna see her face again. Because of her, as much as I like the pearl milk tea there, I've decided not to patronise the shop again until she has resigned. Please consider my feedback, if every customer counts. Thanks.
